Description:
In this piece, I have attempted to project a sense of movement, fluidity and, perhaps, a hint of exuberance. The breaking waves of Ebony inlay find themselves in stark contrast to the almost holographic grain pattern of the golden Quilted Maple. The hanging Horsehair bow on the bottom of the psaltery repeats the curve at the top of the display piece to maintain the continuity.
